Supporting rural and remote communities
Accessing aged care and disability support in rural, regional and remote areas can be challenging.
With limited providers and support workers, it’s difficult for people to stay living at home and in the communities they know and love.
Mable Community Partnerships supports under-served communities by involving local workers in delivering care. By enabling people to receive and provide care, it helps them stay in their towns longer. This is a three-way partnership between Mable, a local coordinating hub, and a home care provider. More than 60 communities across Australia currently take part in the program.
Enabling independent living
The NDIS Home and Living journey can be overwhelming. To simplify the process, we developed a consultancy service led by experts with lived experience.
Individuals, family members, support coordinators, and occupational therapists can all access personalised consultancy packages to help them and their clients attain their home and living goals.
Awarding community grants
Our community grants help fund people and projects that champion inclusion and independence for people with disability and older Australians.
Since 2019, we have given almost $215,000 in grants to the benefit of the community.
